The Truth About Public Street Fights

In the recent years, one can see that public street fights have become very common. Mostly, these public street fights occur in busier places like market places, shopping malls, public parks and so on. Domestic violence, riots, war, terrorism, police atrocities, and so on are some of the forms of public street fights. Factional street fights and individual street fights are the two common types of public street fighting.

In the individual street fights, the common ones that are prevalent are due to drunkenness, money, sexual assault or money. In the factional street fights, the common ones that are prevalent are due to political confrontation, labor confrontation, prejudices or sports riots. Unlike the regular sports, which include martial arts (judo, karate, boxing and so on) that have a pre-arranged format, timings, judges, rules and regulations, the public street fights do not have any of these formats. Street fights represent informal code of honor. Sometimes, an individual public street fight can pave the way for factional public street fight, as in the case of religious riots. One of the persons involved in the street fights could be associated with any religious sect, which might cause this kind of public street fights.

Public Street fights sometimes, result due to mugging, wherein an individual or a group demands and collects money from either the travelers or the shopkeepers. However, if one refuses to pay them the money, it would result in the public street fights. During elections, there may be public street fights in the form of political confrontation that starts either between two individuals of different parties or between two individuals of same parties. Fights between two individuals of different parties can be due to fanatic approach of party workers towards their parties, however, if the public street fight occur between two individuals of the same party, it could be due to the individuals supporting different leaders in the same party.

Public street fighting, in the recent years have started between the Maoists and the police. Maoists might start the revolution against the existing government or the military that is staged in their country. Another kind of public street fighting is the labor confrontation, which happens between the labor and management. This starts with peaceful demonstration initially; however, it may end with the physical assault between them. Sports riots, commonly known as hooliganism happens between the sports' fans supporting different teams playing a game.
